Nguni Homeware is built on passion, experience, and a brotherhood formed through hard work and a shared vision. Our journey began in 2020 when the three of us — Ntsikelelo, Sbulelo, and Fortune — started working together at a well-known homeware company.

At the time, Ntsikelelo and Sbulelo worked as data capturers, while Fortune served as the company driver. Over time, our commitment and work ethic opened new doors. By 2022, Ntsikelelo and Sbulelo were promoted into management positions, gaining direct access to local and international suppliers. This allowed us to build strong relationships with manufacturers and wholesalers and develop a deep understanding of product sourcing.

We soon became the company’s buyers — selecting unique homeware pieces that customers loved. Retailers consistently praised our eye for quality and design, often encouraging us to start our own business. Meanwhile, Fortune advanced to warehouse manager, gaining valuable operational and logistics experience that completed our skill set as a team.

Through these years, we mastered customer service, operations, supplier relations, and product curation. We also became brothers in the process — united by the vision of creating something of our own.

With confidence in our knowledge and industry connections, we began sourcing products directly from trusted local and global suppliers and selling through Makro Marketplace and Amazon. That journey laid the foundation for what would become Nguni Homeware.

Today, we proudly operate our own e-commerce store — a brand born from teamwork, expertise, and a shared passion for elegant, luxurious homeware. Our story is still unfolding, and we’re honoured to bring carefully curated pieces into homes across South Africa.
